Roof coatings
Pre-painted steel steel is an extremely durable building material, which can withstand various weather conditions as well as mechanical stress. The easy-to-care roof coating maintains its colour for a long time and when maintained well, it can last for decades. Metehe’s roof coating selection has several colour and coating options for finishing the building to suit its environment.
Pre-painted steel is manufactured in accordance with the EN-10169-1 standard. To ensure the conformity between Colorcoat products, Tata Steel uses laboratory tests to test the products’ corrosion, UV radiation, chemical and wear resistance. All product tests are carried out in approved laboratories in accordance with international standards.

COATING QUALITIES
PUR
Polyurethane (Colorcoat® SDP 50) is a semi-glossy coating with a structured surface and which is suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor use. It has a warranty period of 20 years. The coating is highly resistant to UV radiation, scratches and corrosion. PUR is particularly suitable as a roofing material, as both profile sheets and seamed roofing.

PUR MATT
Polyurethane matt (Colorcoat® SDP 50 Matt) is a non-shiny coating with a structured surface and which is suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor use. It has a warranty period of 20 years. The coating is highly resistant to UV radiation, scratches and corrosion. PUR Matt is particularly suitable as a roofing material, as both profile sheets and seamed roofing.

HC25
Hard Coat 25 (Colorcoat® PE 25 HC) is an affordable, silky coating with a slightly structured surface and which is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It has a warranty period of 12 years. The coating has good resistance against UV radiation, scratches and corrosion. HC25 is suitable for less demanding sites, such as the roofs of warehouses and holiday homes.

PE
Polyester (Colorcoat® PE 25) is an affordable, semi-glossy warranty coating with a smooth surface and which is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It has a warranty period of 10 years. The coating is moderately resistant to UV radiation, scratches and corrosion. PE is suitable for less demanding sites, such as the roofs of warehouses and holiday homes.
COATING WARRANTIES
The warranty coatings protect the sheet effectively while retaining their colour, while features vary according to the selected type of coating. All surface-coated steel sheets have been hot galvanised before their final surface coating. The raw material manufacturer issues Metehe Oy and the materials it supplies a coating warranty in accordance with the following warranty certificate.
