Company information

Metehe Oy was established in 1998. The company is a flexible and customer-oriented importer that performs further processing of steel sheets. We serve consumers and the industry using steel sheets directly from our factory without any dealers or other middlemen. Thanks to our modern and powerful machinery, we are able to manufacture a comprehensive range of steel roofings (roof and wall profiles), facade systems, and related products. We also supply raw materials and components, such as coils, webs, and sheets, to sectors of industry that make use of steel sheet products. In 2010, exports accounted for about 55% of our turnover of 15 million euros.

Our raw materials are high-quality steel sheets coated with PUR (polyurethane), PVDF (polyvinyl difluoride), and PE (polyester), as well as galvanised steel sheets. Our coated products have a term of guarantee of 15–20 years, depending on the grade, in Finland. Our French partner Myriad is the largest manufacturer of coated steel sheets in Europe. Myriad is part of Tata Steel. In addition to the colours commonly used in Finland, our comprehensive colour range includes many other shades, so that we can meet the needs of our customers.

Our facilities are easy to reach, as they are located on Highway 6, in the Lampikangas industrial area in Joutseno, near Lappeenranta. The high quality of our operations is guaranteed by our customer-oriented approach, skilled personnel, modern machinery, and strong investments in product development. We continuously develop our operations in order to improve the quality of our products in all phases, from manufacture to delivery to the end user.
